CHALLENGE

Puget Sound Energy wanted to promote the use of energy efficient light bulbs in the community by engaging consumers one-on-one and providing them the opportunity to try them for themselves, absolutely free.

SOLUTION

We launched Puget Sound Energy's Rock the Bulb mobile tour, using our network of mobile billboard vehicles. The Rock the Bulb tour made stops at large fairs and festivals throughout the Northwest region distributing energy efficient light bulbs to consumers while our team of trained Brand Ambassadors educated people about the cost benefits of being energy-efficient, and drove them to in-store retail events for discount opportunities on energy efficient CFL bulbs.

RESULT

  • 40,000 bulbs were handed out over 10 weeks
  • 4,000 face-to-face engagements each week
