Account Executive


Description

The Account Executive helps develop and facilitate relationships with clients to discover their needs, develop creative solutions and manage initiatives from start to finish. The Account Executive is a leader and is expected to provide insight and strategic direction to exceed client needs while expanding Beyond Traditional's product and service offerings. Account Executive will be responsible for multiple clients and is expected to manage multiple large, complex projects in a collaborative, team environment while working very closely with Account Director to ensure all initiatives are developed to meet client needs and executed flawlessly.

Essential Functions

• Own the account/client relationship and manage the overall budget and revenue for the account
• Act as a thought leader, facilitating collaboration with team to deliver inspiration to clients and insightful feedback to Account Director in growing the strategic and tactical product offerings of Beyond Traditional
• Nurture multiple client relationships and work on expanding and deepening the client base
• Work with Account Director to determine project scope, deliverables, requested timeline, and target budget
• Directly interface with client on approved projects and continually look for ways to improve project deliverables, anticipate client needs, and offer solutions
• Ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
• Participate in all phase reviews (internal and client reviews) and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
• Prioritize multiple projects and balance needs of multiple clients, including meeting deadlines and commitments
• Advocate for the client and represent their voice or perspective in internal reviews
• Educate the client by promoting the comprehensive offering of Beyond Traditional while strengthening and expanding current client relationships
• Develop new client relationships by representing Beyond Traditional in existing and new business opportunities
• Travel frequently for both current and new business opportunities

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Track record as a collaborative team player who encourages shared ownership and empowerment
• Analytical problem solver able to generate relevant metrics and recommend solutions quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively negotiate conflict while remaining calm
• Professional presentation, expert communication and writing skills
• Ability to encourage and facilitate dialogue to discover hidden issues and brainstorm resolutions in order to balance the needs of Beyond Traditional and its clients
• Understanding of plan projects including schedules, priorities, activities, and workload
• Ability to lead and inspire teams

Education/Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of agency experience REQUIRED
• Experience with proven Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive and/or Account Executive skills required in order to create, maintain and grow customer relationships
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Account Executive experience preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Competency with Adobe Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
